Southampton Lineup vs. Bournemouth: Projected XI For Premier League Clash

Under-pressure Southampton manager Russell Martin is expected to have the same squad available for Monday’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Saints boss will still be without Gavin Bazunu (Achilles), Will Smallbone (hamstring), and Kamaldeen Sulemana (ankle) due to injuries, while Jack Stephens completes a three-match suspension.

Southampton was just moments away from securing their first top-flight win of the season at home against Ipswich Town last weekend, only to concede an equalizer in the 95th minute from Sam Morsy.

Despite the late disappointment, Martin should take encouragement from his team’s performance for the majority of the match, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him field an unchanged lineup for this South Coast encounter.

One bright spot in a challenging season for the visitors has been Tyler Dibling, who scored his first Premier League goal last weekend and will likely join Cameron Archer, Ryan Fraser, and creative playmaker Mateus Fernandes in a four-man attack.

Fraser and Archer struggled to last beyond 60 minutes against Ipswich, which could see Martin call upon Ben Brereton Diaz from the bench, although the Chilean has yet to win in his first 19 Premier League appearances.

Adam Lallana, who assisted Dibling’s goal last weekend, should partner with Flynn Downes in midfield, while Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Jan Bednarek, Charlie Taylor, and Yukinari Sugawara will provide protection in front of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

**Southampton Possible Starting Lineup:**
Ramsdale; Sugawara, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Taylor; Lallana, Downes; Dibling, Fernandes, Fraser; Archer
