Bournemouth Lineup vs. Southampton: Projected XI For Premier League Clash
Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola will have to watch from the sidelines when Southampton visits the Vitality Stadium on Monday evening, as he serves a one-match Premier League touchline ban.
Iraola received his third caution of the season during last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, earning a yellow card for dissent after Luis Diaz scored his first goal.
He will not be the only one absent from the touchline, as Tyler Adams remains sidelined with a back issue, but the Cherries should otherwise have a full squad available.
While Bournemouth struggled to make an impact against Liverpool, summer signing Evanilson has yet to score or assist in his first four Premier League appearances and has not completed a full match in any of them.
As a result, Enes Unal may be considered for a starting position alongside Marcus Tavernier, Antoine Semenyo, and Justin Kluivert, who is expected to retain his spot despite being substituted at halftime against Liverpool.
Lewis Cook and Ryan Christie are likely to keep their places in midfield, along with Kepa Arrizabalaga, Milos Kerkez, and Ilya Zabarnyi in defense.
Adam Smith is pushing for a return at right-back over Julian Araujo, while Dean Huijsen might lose his position to Marcos Senesi, who has received a booking in each of Bournemouth’s last five home matches in the league.
**Bournemouth Possible Starting Lineup:**
Kepa; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Cook, Christie; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Unal
