Premier League Clubs Are Reportedly Monitoring Wilfried Zaha Closely
Galatasaray winger Wilfried Zaha has reportedly caught the attention of several Premier League clubs as the summer transfer window approaches.
Last year, Zaha opted to depart his long-standing affiliation with Crystal Palace to embrace a new challenge with the Turkish giants.
Since then, the Ivory Coast international has made a significant impact, tallying 10 goals and four assists from 19 starts and 14 substitute appearances, with many of the latter occurring within the last month.
However, Zaha’s recent absence from key matches has sparked speculation about his future under Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk, prompting discussions about a potential return to English football.
According to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, at least four Premier League clubs, including West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, and Everton, are monitoring Zaha’s situation with Galatasaray, considering the possibility of securing his services.
For Galatasaray, the prospect of selling Zaha presents an opportunity to generate substantial profit and bolster their financial stability in both the short and long term.
While no specific asking price has been mentioned for the versatile attacker, Zaha’s impressive Premier League record of 68 goals and 43 assists in 305 games could make him an enticing prospect for potential suitors.
Among the interested clubs, West Ham and Fulham, both based in London, may hold particular appeal for Zaha, given his familiarity with the city and its football landscape.
West Ham, in particular, are in need of attacking reinforcements following the departures of Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma in January, while Wolverhampton Wanderers could be seeking an alternative to Pedro Neto.
However, Everton’s potential interest may hinge on their financial situation and their ability to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
